Bryan Adams shared a Donald Trump protest song, '51st State' to mark Canada Day on July 1, which was the nation's birthday.

The track which you can check out below, celebrates unity among people of Canada, and opposes President Donald Trump's repeated remarks that Canada should become the 51st state, as well as launching a huge cross board tariff war.

In the song, Adams sings the following lyrics: “Let me give it to you straight/ When you’re talking about my home/ You better show some respect/ Cuz up here we take care of our own/ So let me give you some advice mister/ You might have too much on your plate/ Go’n load us up with tariffs/ But we’ll never be the 51st State".

The song is the latest call to follow Trump's trade war, as well as threats of annexation amid a rise in Canadian nationalism.

Adams also sings:  “For the working man it’s easier together/ We’re way better hand in hand/ But the 49th parallel has become a line drawn in the sand".

Check it out below.
