Def Leppard are to release a live album ahead of Record Store Day next month.

The live album which is titled ‘One Night Only Live At The Leadmill Sheffield May 19 2023’, will be released by Mercury Studios as a double vinyl LP, ahead of Record Store Day on April 20.

Def Leppard performed a one off show at the venue, The Leadmill in Sheffield, while in the midst of their largest European Tour ever, which included a sold out show at Wembley Stadium.

This show also took place ahead of the release of their latest album ‘Drastic Symphonies’, which saw the band deconstruct some well known tracks, including ‘Hysteria’.

Def Leppard Share New Live Album

This live album was significant to Def Leppard, who wanted to shine a light on the iconic Leadmill venue.

This venue has been a vital cog in the wheel for Sheffield and the UK music scene, which is also among many of the small music premises which face a threat of closure.

Proceeds from ticket sales from the Leadmill show will be donated to the Music Venue Trust, who work tirelessly for struggling UK Music venues.
