Here at Radio Nova we got our paws on the exclusive, never released, and sole only recording of Led Zeppelin’s ‘Sunshine Woman’ and we’re only thrilled to share it with you.
Recorded back in 1969, at the BBC, it somehow got lost deep within the bands cave but since re-emerging, it’s been confirmed it’s the sole only recording of the track.
It features as an exclusive on The Complete BBC Sessions collection which is to be released later this year. The updated collection builds on the original 1977 BBC Sessions release.
An entire extra CD has been added, boasting 8 previously unreleased recordings which have been remastered with the supervison of Jimmy Page.
Accompanying the set are session by session liner notes from Dave Lewis which give an insight into just how the BBC recordings unfolded.
Released on September 16th, The Complete BBC Sessions, will come in multiple formats:
Deluxe Edition (3CD) – Remastered original album plus a third disc of unreleased audio.
Deluxe Edition Vinyl (5LP) – Remastered original album, plus a fifth LP of unreleased audio, on 180-gram vinyl.
Super Deluxe Edition (3CD/5LP) – Which includes a 48 page photo book and a high-def downloading card for the content.
