The man responsible for one of the world’s most iconic album covers has died.
Storm Thorgerson went to school with Syd Barrett and Roger Waters, so maybe it’s not surprising he was the creative hand behind Pink Floyd’s album cover for ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’.
The English graphic designer also designed album covers for Led Zeppelin, Peter Gabriel and Rainbow, amongst others, while he also worked on big music videos for Pink Floyd, Nik Kershaw and Yes.
He died peacefully today after a battle with cancer, aged 69.
