Gentle Giant have shared a promotional and animated video for the Steven Wilson remix of ‘Two Weeks In Spain’, which you can check out below.

The video was animated and directed by Ryan “Razzberri” Byrne, with the new remix available on CD, Blu ray, and coloured vinyl via Chrysalis Records from February 23.

Two Weeks In Spain originally featured on Gentle Giant’s 1977 album The Missing Piece, their ninth studio release, following on from their previous release Interview, which arrived a year earlier.

The Missing Piece which was released by the band who comprised of Ray Shulman, Derek Shulman, Gary Green, John ‘Pugwash’ Weathers and Kerry Minnear did help to push boundaries for Gentle Giant.

One side of the record featured several musical styles, including punk and rock among others, with the other side containing more traditional prog rock sounds from the band.

Two Days In Spain

Two Days In Spain was the opening track of this album, which also saw Gentle Giant adding popular punk rock material such as Betcha Thought We Couldn’t Do It, got funky on Who Do You Think You Are?.

Other material also included Mountain Time, while I’m Turning Around.

The album itself will also be available as a CD digipack, Blu ray, and CD, which will feature The Steven Wilson Remix, Original Stereo Mix, “Winning” (Outtake) Bonus Track, 5.1 Surround Sound Mix, and Instrumental Mix.

Custom visuals for each track as a 180g vinyl, and a limited edition transparent green on each vinyl, will also be available.

Speaking of new remixes, Ozzy Osbourne was full of praise for T-Pain for the rapper’s cover of classic Black Sabbath hit ‘War Pigs’.

The track featured on T-Pain’s covers album On Top Of The Covers, which arrived last year.
