So apparently the headliners for Glastonbury for the next two years are already booked. Festival organiser Michael Eavis recently revealed the news in an interview on Tuesday night.
Emily Eavis the daughter of the festival organiser previously confirmed that the headliners for 2016 had been booked. In a recent interview with BBC 1 radio presenter Sinead Garvan, Michael Eavis confirmed that they have headliners for the next two years running.
Although we don’t know who exactly they are, some clues were given as to who the headliners actually are. Michael Eavis stated that four of the six headliners have topped the bill before and only two are completely new.
The 2016 edition of Glastonbury will take place on Worthy Farm in Somerset from June 22nd -26th. Some of the forerunners for next year’s headliners include Foo Fighters (missing out last year because of Dave Grohl’s injury), Muse, Oasis, Daft Punk, and Radiohead who have all been tipped to headline the festival.
