Jack White's wife, Olivia Jean has filed for divorce after more than three years of marriage.
According to documents obtained by PEOPLE, the singer filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences and “inappropriate marital conduct” for this split. She has listed their date of separation as the date she filed.
These documents have alleged that White is “guilty of inappropriate marital conduct, which makes further cohabitation unsafe and improper".
At the time of writing, neither party has personally commented on the matter. TMZ were also the first outlet to break this news.
Prior to this, White and Jean got married in Detroit in December 2022, after The White Stripes star White had proposed on the same night. At the time, Jean had described the wedding as “the best experience of my life", according to the New York Times.
Her filings has claimed that she is “dependent on [White's] income for her support", and has requested alimony and for him to keep funding her medical insurance. She has also asked the court that she remains on her life assurance policy as beneficiary.
Previously, Jack White was married to White Stripes bandmate, Meg White from 1996 to 2000, and to model and singer Karen Elson from 2005 to 2013. He and Elson shared children, daughter Scarlett and son Henry.
Earlier this year, Jack White had hit out at the unveiling of a towering golden Donald Trump statue in Florida, which he described in a social media post as “the most frustrating part of modern American life".
This sculpture shows Trump with his fist in the air following the attempted assassination attempt against him during a 2024 campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Blasting the image which has been dubbed, 'Don Colossus', White wrote online: “The most frustrating part of modern American life is the attempt to make sense of people who don’t even CARE that they make no sense at all". More on this from Nova here.
