Lennon Gallagher, son of former Oasis singer Liam has followed in his father’s footsteps and joined a rock band!
Lennon’s mother is also Patsy Kensit, Liam’s first wife. She, herself has music credentials too. She performed the track “I’m Not Scared” on Top Of The Pops with her band Eight Wonder. The song also reached number 2 in 1988.
It now appears that their son, Lennon has now inherited Liam’s love of the limelight by signing as frontman for the band, Automotion.
“That rock god stage presence”
A source had this to say.
“Lennon has that rock god stage presence and has learned the art of performance from his dad”.
Adding, “Liam is super proud and has listened to his songs – he’s always around to offer advice”.
“I grew up with my mum being an actress, Lennon said previously.
Also my dad is a musician”, he added. “I just like being in front of the camera – as cheesy as that sounds”.
Last year, Lennon’s dad Liam Gallagher was also told by Yoko Ono that it was silly to name his son after her husband, John Lennon.
At the time Liam said, “Yoko said, ‘I’ve heard you’ve called your son Lennon’.
“I said, ‘Yeah’, she said, ‘Why? Do you not think it’s a bit of a silly name?”.
“And I said, ‘No, it’s a bit silly being called Yoko isn’t it? So Lennon it is”.
The Gallaghers and the film company
Last week, we also brought you the news that Noel and Liam Gallagher have set up a film company.
It appears that despite being at loggerheads since Oasis split up in 2009, the Gallagher brothers have set up their film company for “motion picture promotion activities”.
It is called Kosmic Kyte. The brothers are listed as company directors, alongside Alec McKinlay who also manages Ignition, Oasis’ managment company.
