Singer apologises to family, friends and fans.
The statement comes amid rumours that he and wife Sharon, who have been enjoying marital bliss (more or less) for 31 years, are splitting.
“Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing,” said Ozzy. “I’m just trying to be a better person. I would like to apologize to Sharon, my family, my friends and my band mates for my insane behavior during this period………and my fans. God Bless, Ozzy.”
A spokesperson for Sharon said the band were staying apart due to their overwhelming work commitments.
Black Sabbath are currently preparing for the launch of their world tour in support of upcoming album “13”.
