Pixies have officially revealed their seventh studio record, ‘Beneath The Eyrie’. This will be indie rockers’ follow-up to 2016’s ‘Head Carrier’.
The album is scheduled to drop on September 13th on their new label, Infectious/BMG. The 12 track record was recorded in December at Dreamland Recordings, Woodstock, NY. It’s produced by Tom Dalgety who also worked on Head Carrier’.
In a statement via the NME, the record promises to conjure a world “where tales of witches, Daniel Boone, misfits and other characters fit utterly into the band’s inherent weirdness.”

The record will come in a variety of fan-friendly formats, including a deluxe box set, standard heavyweight single gatefold black vinyl, deluxe CD in a hard casebound book, cassette, digital download, standard 12-song CD and standard heavyweight single gatefold coloured vinyl. Pixies have also scheduled a full-scale European tour for September and October 2019. The tour will include an Irish stop at THe Olympia Theatre in Dublin on 26th of September before they head over to the mainland. To grab tickets for the show go here.
