“gonna need a lot of help” – Springsteen Introduces Show To Audience

Speaking to the audience, Bruce Springsteen said, “It’s great to be in Cardiff, it’s good to be in Wales”.

He added, “The E Street Band is here tonight to bring you the joyous power of rock ‘n’ roll. We’re gonna need some help, we’re gonna need a lot of help, we’re gonna need a shit load of help!”.

As part of the customary tradition at Springsteen shows, fans of The Boss held up signs with song request, with Bruce and the E Street Band performing tracks ‘Better Days’, and ‘If I Was the Priest’.

Introducing the latter to the audience, Springsteen said, “Here’s a song I wrote 50 years ago. It was what I was busy doing while you weren’t here”.

During his US leg of the tour, Bruce Springsteen was also joined on stage by Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello for a series of live performances.
