Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello joined Bruce Springsteen on stage to perform two songs from the Boss’ ongoing tour.
Last weekend, Springsteen performed at LA’s Kia Forum in California as part of his ongoing tour with the E Street Band.
During this gig, Springsteen enlisted the help of Tom Morello to perform tracks American Skin (41 shots), and The Ghost Of Tom Joad. You check out these performances below.
This also marks the first time that Springsteen performed American Skin (41 Shots) since 2017, and the first time he performed The Ghost of Tom Joad since 2016.
Bruce Springsteen Becomes A Fellow
The performance comes just a few weeks after it was confirmed that Bruce Springsteen was to become a Fellow at Ivors Academy, becoming the first international songwriter to achieve this in the process.
This is also the highest honour offered by the organisation, and means that Springsteen is the first ever international songwriter inducted by the Academy into Fellowship.
“I’m proud to be the first international songwriter to be recognised by The Ivors Academy. In addition to recognising my songwriting, the award stands as a tribute to the fans and friends who have supported me and my work for the last fifty years”, Springsteen said, reacting to this news.
He added, “This entire country has made me feel welcome every step of the way, and for this, I will always remain deeply appreciative”.
