Quentin Tarantino's first ever play is set to launch in London in 2027, according to reports.
This comes after previous reports from the Daily Mail were corroborated by Deadline, which say that the reported play is an "old fashioned British farce", similar to Michael Frayn's Noises Off, and is to launch in January next year.
The play will reportedly be directed by Tarantino, and is set to get a run at London's West End.
This comes after the Pulp Fiction director had previously said: “If you’re wondering what I’m doing right now, I’m writing a play, and it’s going to be probably the next thing I end up doing".
Last year, Tarantino had also speculated about the possibility of his last film being based on his new play: “If it’s a fiasco, I probably won’t turn it into a movie,” he said. “But if it’s a smash hit? It might be my last movie".
Back in 2023, Quentin Tarantino had revealed that he was "ready to quit" making films following his hugely successful three decade carer in the film industry.
Initially, Tarantino had said that was keen to “go and write novels and cinema literature, stuff like that”.
In a previous interview with Australian GQ magazine, he said: “I think when it comes to thearetical movies, I’ve come to the end of the road. I see myself writing film books and starting to write theatre. So I’ll still be creative. I just think I’ve given all I have to give to movies”.
