Tom Hardy will return as Harry da Souza in MobLand after Paramount+ officially renewed the crime drama for a third season.
The news comes just days before the second season premieres on September 18, with Hardy set to return alongside Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren.
Brosnan and Mirren will reprise their roles as crime family heads Conrad and Maeve Harrigan.

The confirmation also puts an end to months of speculation surrounding Hardy’s future on the show.
Earlier this year, reports claimed that the actor had been involved in tensions behind the scenes during production, with disagreements reportedly involving producers and showrunner Jez Butterworth.
Industry reports claimed Hardy had clashed with members of the production over creative decisions and that his behaviour had caused frustration on set.

One reported incident alleged that Hardy had remained in his trailer for hours at a time, leaving other cast members waiting to film.
The reports also suggested there had been concerns over the direction of the series and the amount of focus being placed on different characters.
At one stage, there was even speculation that Hardy could be dropped from the show if it returned for a third season.

However, those concerns now appear to have been resolved.
Reports in June suggested that Hardy and the production team had reached an agreement for him to return, and Paramount+ has now officially confirmed that he will be back for Season 3.
Helen Mirren has also spoken positively about working with Hardy and dismissed reports of tension between the pair.

The third season does not yet have a release date.
Before fans get to Season 3, there is still the second season to come.
Season 2 will premiere on Paramount+ on September 18 and will consist of 10 episodes, with new episodes released weekly until November 20.
The new season will see the Harrigan family facing fresh threats as rivals move in on their criminal empire, while Harry finds himself caught between increasingly dangerous sides.
MobLand first premiered in 2025 and quickly became one of Paramount+’s most-watched original series.
The show is produced by Guy Ritchie, David C. Glasser, Jez Butterworth and Tom Hardy, among others.
For now, fans can expect to see Hardy back as Harry da Souza when MobLand returns later this month, with the actor now officially confirmed to continue into Season 3.
