Ringo Starr joins the famous faces of Fred Armisen and Vanessa Bayer in a brand new official music video for George Harrison’s solo track ‘My Sweet Lord’.

The video was produced and released to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Harrison’s first solo project – the triple album ‘All Things Must Pass’ – that he dropped after the Beatles disbanded in the late 1960s.

In addition to Ringo Starr, the music video, directed by Lance Bangs, who has previously worked on videos for Nirvana, Arcade Fire, Kanye West, and more, featured famous musicians, actors, and comedians.

The story of the video casts Saturday Night Live cast members Armisen and Bayer as special agents tasked to “search for that which can’t be seen” by the agency head, played by Star Wars’ Mark Hamill.

On their mission Armisen and Bayer meet up with actor and musician Darren Criss while they investigate a cinema. This particular scene features Ringo Starr throwing popcorn at the comedians as they obstruct his view of the film.

Other cameos included George Harrison’s wife and son Olivia and Dhani, actress Aimee Mullins, actor Rupert Friend, musician Jeff Lynne, and actors Jon Hamm and Rosanna Arquette. Musicians Joe Walsh, “Weird Al” Yankovic and Reggie Watts also make appearances alongside comedians Patton Oswalt, Natasha Leggero, Moshe Kasher and many more.
