Robbie Williams has said that he would love to recruit Radiohead for a cover of ‘It’s Raining Men’.

Williams has said in a recent interview that he would be keen to get the band to do the backing vocals for the 1983 Weather Girls hit.

The former Take That singer made these comments during The Sun’s Bizarre Column.

Williams Keen For Radiohead To Do The “backing track track for me”

Speaking to the column, Williams said, “I want to do a cover of ‘It’s Raining Men’ but I want Radiohead to do a backing track for me”.

The singer also added, “But they have not got back to me. I keep asking but nothing back. I dunno. I might ask Trent Reznor”.

Earlier this Summer, Robbie Williams spoke about two things that saved him from addiction and depression.

He also admitted that his initial rise to stardom led to his problems to addiction.

“Two things saved me from this… I didn’t want to be here, three or four times I thought, ‘I’ve had enough, I’m bailing out, I can’t stand this anymore”, Williams told the audience during a recent show at the Isle of Wight.

Williams paid homage to his wife Ayda Field. He said meeting her saved him from depression. More on this here.

This Summer also saw Radiohead’s album ‘Ok Computer’ recreated using sounds from a N64 Nintendo Game. This was created by a YouTuber who goes by the name of on4word. More here.
