The Rolling Stones look set to unveil their latest studio album, 'Foreign Tongues' later this week.

The album is to include the as-yet unreleased single, 'Mr Charm', which appeared in international databases this week, ahead of a scheduled announcement on Saturday (April 11).

This new track surfaced via a joint portal for rights organisations, ASCAP and BMI, along with French registry SACEM, serving as the lead single for Foreign Tongues.

According to reports, the new material for this album was recorded at West London's Metropolis Studios with producer Andrew Watt, who also worked on their Hackney Diamonds album in 2023. The album has been billed as recapturing that raw energy which defined the early career of the Rolling Stones in the mid 1960s.

News of this comes as fans of the band were left trying to figure out a mysterious set of posts which appeared across London, leading to speculation that the Rolling Stones were indeed sharing new music.

A new set of posts featured the name, 'The Cockroaches', along with a QR code, leaving fans to wander.

At the time, journalist and broadcaster Matt Everitt was one of the first to point out the somewhat bizarre name for this.

“I could be falling for an elaborate April Fool’s hoax, or I could have dropped down a rabbit hole of obscure Stones folklaw, but this would appear to be some form of cryptic @therollingstones announcement, right?", he wrote on social media. More on this here.

Back in March, it emerged that the Rolling Stones' guitarist Keith Richards was to become a great-grandfather for the first time, after his granddaughter and model Ella Richards, announced that she was expecting her first child.

Ella shared this delightful news on social media, and received many messages of congratulations. See this post and more on this story here.
