It would appear that that a new documentary on Oasis' Reunion Tour is in the works.

This comes after Dylan Southern, who is best known for working on films for Blur and LCD Soundsystem, recently spoke his upcoming project, a documentary about the iconic reunion tour, which saw Oasis reunite for the first time since 2009.

"I worked so much with LIAM and NOEL. I can't talk much about it. but it was an incredible trip. We've been with them from rehearsals to the last concert of the tour. This was a dream project to work on. And it turned out better than I thought it would", Southern said.

He added: "I worked so much with LIAM and NOEL. I can't talk much about it. but it was an incredible trip. We've been with them from rehearsals to the last concert of the tour. This was a dream project to work on. And it turned out better than I thought it would".

"It will be released some time this year. Oasis will announce when very soon".

It is also likely that a live '25 concert album will be released on top of this documentary.

News of this just days after Oasis' Noel Gallagher said that he was working in the studio.

However, it remains to be seen whether this is leading to new Oasis material or solo material with the High Flying Birds.

“I’m in the studio now, but I better put something out,” Gallagher told talkSport. “I’ve been shamed".

Gallagher was speaking about being awarded Songwriter of the Year at this year's Brit Awards, where he revealed: “If I’m being honest right, I just think they were desperate to get somebody from Oasis up there because it’s from Manchester… that’s what I think".

However, this announcement caused controversy with many people quick to point out that Noel Gallagher won this award, despite not releasing any new material in that last 12 months.

Addressing this controversy, Noel Gallagher had this to say.

“I haven’t written a song for two years. I’m not sure how I’ve got away with that one but I’ll take it,” he admitted, acknowledging the criticism with a smirk rather than a defence", he said.

Gallagher then went on to claim that commercial performance still speaks volumes. “I think the Brits is all based on record sales, and I’m not sure there was another single songwriter that sold… I mean, we sold a million records last year. Didn’t even get off the couch and I’m not sure there’s a songwriter that can match that".
