American rock band Toto are stopping off in Dublin as part of their 2015 world tour. The group are playing Vicar Street in May next year.
Who doesn’t feel good when they turn on Radio NOVA and hear the iconic line “I bless the rains down in Africa”.
Toto formed in 1978 in California, releasing twelve albums over the past thirty years, their last record being 2006’s Falling In Between.
The band is best known for their fourth studio album 1982’s Toto IV. The LP received six Grammy Awards in 1983, and won Album of the Year, Producer of the Year for the band, and Record of the Year for ‘Rosanna’.
Not to mention Toto IV included the monster hit ‘Africa’.
