Iggy Pop has released a brand new music video from his latest album Free.
“Sonali” was written by Ruby Sylvain and Leron Thomas and the bizarre video for the song was directed by Mac DeMarco, and features a familiar face: The Lizard Man.
The video stars musician Tommy Midnight and DeMarco’s girlfriend Kiera McNally, both of whom are outfitted with some extremely elaborate lizard makeup while otherwise dressed in regular human clothes
The video comes after the recent news that Iggy Pop is the first headline act to be announced for All Together Now 2020 that takes place across the August Bank Holiday weekend (July 31st-August 3rd) at Curraghmore Estate, County Waterford.
This will be the ‘godfather of punk’s’ first Irish performance in 12 years.
