Noel Gallagher concluded his tour with the help of Paul Weller and Johnny Marr last night.

He embarked on a 121 date tour in support of Chasing Yesterday, his second album with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, and closed the extensive stint with two super collaborations.

Weller, who joined the rocker during his headline set at Festival No.6, rejoined Gallagher during his encore performance at Brixton’s o2 Academy. They performed ‘Pretty Green’ and ‘Town Called Malice’, both originals from Weller’s time with his band The Jam.

While Marr joined the set seven songs in to play guitar on Oasis’ chart topping ‘Champagne Supernova’. They also performed ‘Ballad Of The Mighty I’, the song they collaborated on for Gallagher’s Chasing Yesterday.

Gallagher’s set list included a mix from both High Flying Birds albums and classics from his time with Oasis.

While he was happy to share the stage with Weller and Marr, he wasn’t too pleased with his company at Scarborough Open Air Theatre.
