The Rolling Stones have taken to Twitter to share two videos featuring new music, as well as revealing the release date for their up-coming album.

The videos, which the band posted to the social networking site, appear to feature a sneak preview of some of the new music that The Rolling Stones have been working on. The band’s new album, which is believed to be a collection of  classic Chicago Blues covers, will be their first in over a decade. In the clips, we see footage of the band recording in British Grove Studios in London.

It was recently reported that The Rolling Stones recorded a song with Eric Clapton, with the help of producer Don Was. Speaking to Le Fiagro, Was said the album, “consists of covers of blues songs” adding,  “The record sounds very crude, very authentic. It captures the essence of what they are,”

In April, Ronnie Wood spoke about the new album, saying, “We went in to cut some new songs, which we did. But we got on a blues streak. We cut 11 blues in two days… When we heard them back after not hearing them for a couple of months, we were, ‘Who’s that?’ ‘It’s you.’ It sounded so authentic.”
