Comedy Headliners Confirmed For Electric Picnic

A host of top comedians are set to entertain fans at this year’s Electric Picnic Festival, as the line up of acts and headliners has been confirmed.

Along with the acts, the festival have also announced the introduction of a new exclusive lounge area, which will be located in front of Stradbally Hall.

This will ensure that attendees can take in the Main Stage proceedings. The bar will also serve cocktails, beer and champagne, as well as a wide range of food.

People will be able to relax in the comfort of hammocks, sofas, and bean bags, charge phones, and leave coats in a nearby cloakroom.

Who Can You Expect To See At Electric Picnic? 

Headlining the event which takes place on September 2 and 3, is Irish comic and BAFTA winner Aisling Bea, as well as Edinburgh Fringe award winner Russel Kane.

Over 30 acts will appear at the event including Liverpudlian Adam Rowe, along with sketch trio Foil Arms and Hog, while Father Ted and Killinaskully star Joe Rooney and popular podcast host Geróid Farrelly will also appear.

Other names also include John Colleary, Neil Delamare, Emma Doran, Shane Todd and Diona Doherty.

Emerging comedy talent will also get a chance to make the audience giggle, including Jack Wise, Amy Walsh, Aideen McQueen, Peter Flanagan and more.

The role of MC for the weekend will be taken by comedy veteran Karl Spain.

Fans can enjoy the lounge experience for €85 on Friday, or €95 on Saturday or Sunday.
