Ringo Starr turns 74, The Beatles drummer celebrated his birthday outside the Capitol Records building in Los Angeles.
Ringo was joined by KISS guitarist Paul Stanley and filmmaker David Lynch to launch the #PeaceRocks campaign.
To kick start his 74th birthday, Ringo and clothing designer John Varvatos are launching #PeaceRocks, a social media campaign. For every peace-sign slefie that is posted on either, Facebook, or Twitter, with hashtag #PeaceRocks, Varvatos will donate $1 to the Ringo Starr Peace and Love Fund.
“We are encouraging fans and supporters around the world to share their own ‘peace and love’ moment by posting on their social media outlets and spreading (Ringo’s) universal message of peace and love.”
