It was one of the biggest albums of the 90s, and now Alanis Morissette is hoping ‘Jagged Little Pill’ will be a big hit on Broadway too.
The Canadian singer is collaborating with some Broadway big guns for the production, including Tom Kitt, who worked on Green Day’s ‘American Idiot’ musical.
Judging by the lyrics of the multi-million-selling, Grammy-award-winning ‘Jagged Little Pill’, we’re not sure this will be a family show when it hits the stage next year, but Alanis says she’s looking forward to “fleshing out” the story of the record.
Will the best-selling début album by a female artist in the U.S. be a hit on the big stage too?
Only time will tell.
