The Rolling Stones have been declared double winners at the NME Awards – more than half a century after they first featured in the magazine’s pages.
The group were named best live band – and their documentary Crossfire Hurricane landed the best film prize.
One Direction were named WORST band – while Johnny Marr took the ‘godlike genius’ award.
