“excited”

Speaking about their upcoming tour dates, the Black Crowes vocalist Chris Robinson could hardly contain his excitement.

“Hope everybody is ready to rock & roll with us on the Happiness Bastards Tour this spring! We’re excited to be playing songs from our new album along with some deeper tracks, juicy covers, and the songs you want to hear!”, he said.

“Happiness Bastards is our love letter to rock’n’roll”, he continued. “Rich and I are always writing and creating music; that has never stopped for us, and it is always where we find harmony together. This record represents that”.

“This album is a continuation of our story as a band. Our years of experience writing and making music and touring the world are represented in this record, and we were brilliantly guided by one of the best producers in the business, Jay Joyce. I am incredibly proud of what we put together”.

From this album, the Black Crowes released the single Wanting And Waiting, which you can check out here.

Last October, the band released a previously unheard recording of Memphis soul track 99 Pounds.

The track was included on the Black Crowes’ box set for their sophomore album The Southern Harmony And Musical Companion. Check that out here.
