Irish boys U2 last night performed their song “Ordinary Love” at the 86th Annual Academy Awards.
Ordinary love, which was in the feature film “Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom” was up for the “Original Song” award, however the lads were beaten by “Let It Go” from the animated movie “Frozen”
Earlier in the year “Ordinary Love” won a Golden Globe award for the song but it just wasn’t their night at the Oscars!
The band are continuing work on their new album which was due to be released in the Spring however this has been pushed back to a Summer release date.
