Star Wars’ Warwick Davis Pays Tribute To Late Wife Samantha

Warwick Davis’s wife, Samantha Davis has died aged 53.

Samantha Davis who was married to the Star Wars and Harry Potter star, shared two children together, Annabelle and Harrison.

Mrs Davis also played a goblin in the final Harry Potter film, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Her husband Warwick played Professor Flitwick and the goblin Griphook in all eight films of the franchise.

Warwick also starred as Willow Ufgood in the 1988 original film, before reprising his role for the 2022 sequel. The original film was where the couple met, before marrying three years later in 1991.

The couple also co-founded the dwarfism charity Little People UK together to help people with dwarfism and their families.

Warwick Davis Pays Tribute To Late Wife Samantha

Releasing a statement to the BBC, Warwick Davis hailed Samantha his  “most trusted confidant and an ardent supporter of everything I did in my career”.

“Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs,” he said.

“She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life she had a wicked sense of humour and always laughed at my bad jokes”. 

The couple’s children also penned this tribute to their late mother.

“Her love and happiness carried us through our whole lives”, they said. “Mum is our best friend and we’re honoured to have received a love like hers”.
