Johnny Marr recently joined The Last Shadow Puppets onstage at one of their gigs. They performed a song by The Smiths with the help of Johnny Marr.
During a show by The Last Shadow Puppets at the Castlefield Bowl in Manchester, Johnny Marr joined the duo for a rendition of The Smiths song ‘Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me’.
Marr is a Manchester native himself and joined The Last Shadow Puppets during their headline show in the city. The band are currently on tour as they play a number of dates in the UK. From there they will play shows across North America before returning to Europe to finish off their tour in August.
Last Shadow Puppets frontman Alex Turner recently spoke about what’s next for him. Turner said there is “no rush” for the next Arctic Monkeys album and doesn’t expect it to be any time soon. In terms of The Last Shadow Puppets he said that once they finish their tour he will be going back to the Arctic Monkeys.
