Glastonbury Festival (official) is over *sad face. Fans have said Royal Blood‘s set on Friday night (June 23rd) at the Pyramid Stage was “bloody insane”. Check out the lads here with Nova’s Morning Glory team, Marty and Conor trying to FIGURE IT OUT….get it?!?
The Brighton duo who supported Guns N’ Roses in Slane last month will soon be gearing up for their UK & Ireland tour; including a date in Dublin’s 3Arena on Sunday November 26. Some tickets for the hotly anticipated gig are still on sale through Tickmater.ie. It will be the band’s biggest gig here to date – following last year’s successful stint in the Olympia Theatre.
The band confirmed on their website that At The Drive In and Black Honey will join them as support on the tour.
Royal Blood’s are currently promoting their new album How Did We Get So Dark? which is out now.
Singer Mike Kerr previously revealed that the band worked out of a warehouse space in Burbank to create their new album.
“We”d party at night and write all day. By that point, we felt the record was coming together and there was a bit of a theme between the songs,” says the singer, who added that they wrote around 50 songs for the disc.
He explained that they had a motto of “anything you’re not proud of, bin it,” with the results yielding a “way sexier, more confident sounding” album. Though the band has yet to reveal any details concerning a track listing, they did premiere a song called “Hook, Line and Sinker” at last year’s Reading Festival.
