Kasabian are officially heading back to Dublin this summer — and Radio Nova listeners are being given the chance to be there for free.
The multi award-winning rock band have announced a major outdoor show at Fairview Park on 16 June, with tickets going on general sale this Friday at 10am.
Before tickets even hit the market, Marty Miller is giving fans the opportunity to win their way in, with one pair of tickets up for grabs every day this week on Marty @ Work.
Running weekdays from 10am to 1pm on Radio Nova, the competition gives listeners multiple chances to score two tickets to what’s shaping up to be one of Dublin’s standout gigs of the summer.
To enter, all you have to do is listen out for Marty’s cue to text, then send your message to 087 1818 100 when prompted. Miss the cue, and you miss the chance — so staying locked in is key.
The giveaway coincides with the official announcement that Kasabian will bring their explosive live show to Fairview Park next June, subject to licence. Tickets start at €59.90.
Formed in Leicester in 1997, Kasabian — Serge Pizzorno, Chris Edwards, Ian Matthews and Tim Carter — have built a career defined by scale, consistency and crowd-dominating performances. They’ve achieved seven consecutive UK number one albums, sold around 10 million records worldwide, and amassed over 1.5 billion Spotify streams, while collecting awards from the BRITs, NME, Mojo and Q Awards, alongside Mercury Prize and MTV VMA nominations.
Their live credentials are equally formidable. Kasabian have headlined some of the world’s biggest festivals, including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Isle of Wight and Victorious, and their now-legendary secret set at Glastonbury in 2024 caused such demand that the tent had to be locked down hours early for safety reasons.
The Fairview Park show comes as the band prepare for another big chapter. Summer 2024 saw the release of Happenings, their eighth studio album and seventh UK number one, while Album 9 – ACT III is due to arrive in Spring 2026, adding even more anticipation around their return to Irish stages. Special guests for the Dublin date are yet to be announced.
